Cinema FAQ's
Worried about the volume of your cinema disturbing the neighbours?
Book one of our Silent Cinema packages. Each guest is given a pair of our very high-quality wireless headphone sets, meaning your neighbours will be blissfully unaware of your movie night. The headphones we provide are the same as those used for our Silent Discos.
Worried about the weather?
Not a problem. We have an indoor screen to take care of that. We can relocate your cinema evening indoors, space permitting. Our indoor screen is almost as large as our outdoor screen which is 3 meters wide.
Worried about licensing?
No need to worry. If you're hosting your Cinema night at home for family and friends and you're not charging a ticket fee, you can simply play films from your DVD or BlueRay collection, or stream from your Amazon Movies account or similar, with no need for a film licence, music licence or events licence. Want to play music before, during or after your event?
Our (non-silent) cinema comes with our PA system allowing you to play your music via the PA system by simply plugging our cable into the headphone socket on your phone, tablet or laptop and hitting play. The volume is controlled via your device. The same applies to the headphones we supply with our Silent Cinemas. They're the same headphones we use for our Silent Disco meaning you can host your own Silent Disco before or after your cinema screening.
Do you need a PRS License?
A PRS licence is not required if you're playing music in a private space such as your home.
A PRS licence may be required if you are playing music in a public space, however, most venues and spaces that host events regularly will have one in place already. Please check with the venue in advance and have them confirm in writing to ensure you're covered.

A TEN is not required if you're playing music in a private space such as your home.

Worried about setting up or packing down the equipment?
You do not need to worry as we take care of all of that for you. We'll arrive early and set up. Once your screening is finished, we will arrive, pack it all down and take it away again. What could be easier?!
Booking Times
Our usual booking times do not apply to outdoor cinemas as we appreciate they can't be fully used until it's the dark meaning we will come and collect at a later time than our booking system allows.
